Jefferson Community Foundation - The Jefferson Community Foundation was founded in 1999 to receive donations of cash or property, and to administer those assets for the educational, cultural and charitable benefit of the citizens in the Jefferson Wisconsin area.

The Jefferson Public Library is located at 321 S. Main St. in Jefferson. Main St. is also Hwy 26. Located two and a half blocks south of the stoplight which is at the intersection of Hwy 18 and Hwy 26. The building is directly across from the Jefferson County Courthouse.

Glacial Drumlin State Trail (Bike Trail): Developed in 1986, the Glacial Drumlin State Trail is one of Wisconsin’s best bike trails. Starting in Cottage Grove, the trail goes east for 52 miles where it ends in the Fox River Sanctuary in Waukesha. It bisects the School District of Jefferson.
